FFP 2610 - Fire Cause and Origin-AS

This course presents an examination of sources of ignition, investigation of structure fires, grass/wild land fires, automobile, motor vehicle and ship fires, and electrical causes of fires. The student will also examine clothing and fabric fires, documentation of the fire scene, and the storage and handling of evidence. The course is designed to enhance the investigation, detection and determination of the cause and origin of fire. This course meets part of the requirements for Florida State Fire Investigator I and Fire Safety Inspector II Certification.
