This course is the first of a three part program designed to prepare students to be eligible to sit for the State of Florida Firefighter II Certification exam. This minimum standards certification course for firefighters is a mentally, physically and emotionally challenging program that includes both classroom and practical application elements. This 60 hour course runs for 3 weeks; meetings are scheduled week nights and weekends. Upon successful completion the student will be eligible to continue to the second part of the program.
