EMS 2673 - Paramedic III-AS 128 lecture hours 8 Credit(s) Prerequisite(s): EMS 2672 with a grade of “B” or better, EMS 2672L with a grade of “B” or better Co-requisite(s): EMS 2673L, EMS 2655 This course will discuss the anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology of the cardiovascular system; identification of dysrhythmia and 12-Lead interpretation; assessment and management of the patient with suspected cardiovascular emergencies. This course presents a discussion of the anatomy and physiology of the nervous, integumentaryand musculo-skeletal systems; assessment, pathophysiology, and management of patients presenting with diseases and trauma to these systems, as well as identification and management of medical emergencies.
