NUR 2033 - Nursing Concepts: Health Alterations Across the Lifespan 4 credits Prerequisites: NUR 1034 with a grade of “C” or higher, NUR 1034L , NUR 1214L with a grade of “C” or higher Corequisites: NUR 2033L This course is designed further develop the concepts within the FSW nursing philosophy: health, people and nursing as a profession. Emphasis is placed on the concepts of elimination, cellular regulation, perfusion, gas exchange, clotting, inflammation, sensory perception, stress/coping, mood/affect, cognition, self, violence, professional behaviors, caring interventions and safety. Upon completion, students should be able to provide safe nursing care incorporating the concepts identified in this course.
