PLA 2200 - Litigation 3 credits Prerequisites: ENC 1101 with a grade of “C” or higher, or equivalent This course is designed to familiarize the student with the structure of the federal and state judicial systems and their jurisdictions. It introduces the student to the basic litigation process and its procedural aspects by focusing on the federal and state rules of civil procedure and evidence. It includes comparisons of state and federal court rules, the drafting of pleadings, and ethical considerations relating to litigation.
