MEA 1207C - Clinical Office Procedures II

Prerequisites: MEA 1206C with a grade of “C” or better
This course provides a study of diseases, diagnoses, and treatments specific to the scope of practice of Medical Assistants. Content will include the study of gastroenterology, orthopedics and rheumatology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, neurology, behavioral health, endocrinology, pulmonology, urology and male reproduction, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The course focuses on the skills necessary to assist during physical exams and perform diagnostic and treatment procedures in these specialties.
