Purpose
The College Credit Certificate in Entrepreneurship Operations offers a sequence of courses that provides logical and robust content aligned with academic standards and relevant technical knowledge and skills needed to prepare for the business entrepreneurship field. The content includes competency-based applied learning that contributes to the academic knowledge, higher-order reasoning and problem-solving skills, work attitudes, technical skills, and occupation-specific skills, and knowledge of all aspects of the Business pathway.
Credits earned in this certificate may apply to the A.S. Entrepreneurship degree.
Program Learning Outcomes
- Cultivate an Entrepreneurial Mindset through critical thinking and problem solving enhancing the ideation activities around solutions to potential problems.
- Cultivate student exploration Accounting principles and practices for managing an entrepreneurial enterprise through all stages.
- Develop entrepreneurs’ managerial skills that follow industry best practices.
- Implement ethical standards and practices in all aspects generated through the enterprise planning process.
- Apply Design Thinking and Scientific Methods to develop indicators and measures of the created idea and the perceived success of launching it.
- Identify solution sets and develop strategies to measure and meet the needs of customers.
- Predict product/service-market fit through metrics and measures devised through operational analytics.
- Understand business structures and risk indicators for planning and development purposes.
- Develop a compelling Value Proposition that identifies differentiations that are critical components of success in the marketplace.
- Apply Marketing, Branding, and Campaign strategies to promote the growth of the entrepreneurial venture.

Graduation Requirements
Students must fulfill all requirements of their program to be eligible for graduation. All courses within the Program Requirements category must be passed with a grade of “C” or better.
