Purpose
The College Credit Certificate (CCC) in Logistics & Transportation Management is tailored to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the core principles, practices, and technologies that drive the efficient flow of goods and services from suppliers to consumers. These two disciplines involve the planning, implementation, and control of the movement and storage of goods with the goal of meeting customer demands while minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency.
This CCC equips students with the knowledge, skills, and competencies to work in logistics and transportation management functions such as logistics planning, purchasing, procurement, supply and materials management, and distribution including receiving and shipping.
Logistics and transportation management are essential components of supply chain management, playing a critical role in ensuring the flow of goods and services across the global marketplace.
Credits earned in a CCC may be applied toward completion of an associate degree.

- Logistics and Supply Chain Fundamentals: Evaluate logistics and supply chain management principles, including transportation systems and warehousing operations.
- Inventory and Procurement Management: Apply knowledge of inventory and supply planning, procurement, financial analysis and contracting processes in supply chain scenarios.
- Operational Efficiency: Analyze effective practices and apply financial analysis in packaging, reverse logistics, and materials handling to optimize operations.
- Customer and Risk Management: Evaluate strategies for customer relationship management and supply chain risk mitigation in both domestic and global contexts.
- Professional and Communication Skills: Exhibit professional effectiveness and proficiency in writing and presenting technical documentation related to logistics and supply chain management.

Graduation Requirements
