                  HUM 2250 - Studies in Humanities: The Romantic Era to the Present- (I) 3 credits Prerequisites: SB 1720 Testing Exemption or Testing into ENC 1101 ; or completion of {(ENC 0025 and REA 0017) or (ENC 0022  and REA 0019 )} with a “C” or higher; or EAP 1620  and EAP 1640  with a “C” or higher; or an eligible testing/course completion combination Required: Writing intensive-a minimum of 4,000 words of instructor-evaluated writing per student This course is an interdisciplinary humanities course with a multicultural and global perspective. Drawing from the field of arts and letters, the course is a study of European culture from Romanticism to the present, as well as the cultures of Asia, Africa and the contemporary Americas. This course is termed a writing intensive course. If completed with a grade of “C” or better, this course serves to complete part of the writing intensive course requirements.
