CHM 2210L - Organic Chemistry I Laboratory 1 credit(s) Prerequisite(s): CHM 2045/2045L and CHM 2046/2046L with a grade of “C” or better in each course Corequisite(s): CHM 2210 This lab course accompanies CHM 2210 and is the first part of a two-semester lab sequence in organic chemistry. It emphasizes microscale and macroscale laboratory techniques associated with synthesis, isolation, purification, and identification of organic compounds. Specific techniques include thin layer chromatography, spectral analysis, solvent extraction, isolation, identification, reflux condensation, recrystallization, filtration, and/or synthesis.
