BSC 1093C - Anatomy and Physiology I 4 credit(s) Prerequisite(s): Minimum grade of “C” in (BSC 1010 and BSC 1010L) or testing (CLEP test for Biology) This is an advanced combined lecture/lab course designed for students in the health-related and biological fields. It covers introduction to anatomy and physiology, homeostasis, tissues, and the following body systems: integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, special senses, and endocrine. The course will expand upon previous biological concepts studied including: inorganic and organic chemistry, biochemistry, cell structure and function, and metabolism.
