CVT 2010L - Non-Invasive Cardiology Applications I 6 credits Prerequisites: CVT 1803 Corequisites: CVT 2271 This course introduces students to clinical imaging in the cardiac and vascular setting. The student will be expected to learn the hospital and department structure and emergency codes and identify the key personnel. Students are expected to be proficient at scanning a patient and back-scan patients at the discretion of the clinical instructor. Students are expected to review findings and help prepare data for interpretation. In addition, students will assist in escorting the patient from the department and preparing the examination room for the next study. Students are expected to research cases and discuss diagnostic studies related to cardiovascular pathology at a basic level.
