MEA 1010C - Radiography Essentials

Prerequisites: HSC 1531 , a Core General Education Mathematics Course, and BSC 1085C , all with a grade of “C” or better.
The course is designed to introduce the basics of x-ray production and help students acquire the knowledge and skills needed to perform basic radiographic positioning and procedures. Skills and processes covered will be radiation protection, equipment operation, technical factors affecting image production, positioning and radiographic anatomy of various body parts, evaluation of radiographic images, patient assessment and care.
