REL 2300 - World Religions

This course is an introduction to the world’s religions with emphasis on oral and written traditions, including primary texts, historical development, beliefs, rituals, ethics, and function in society. Religions include but are not limited to Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. This course includes, but is not limited to, selections from the Western canon.
