CRW 2001 - Creative Writing I 3 credits Prerequisites: ENC 1101 with a grade of “C” or better
This course is designed to develop and enhance a student’s ability to use conventional techniques of imaginative writing. This course is for students who wish beginning study in the writing of short fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, and/or drama with critical review on projects, to experience writing for and leading workshops, performing and critiquing readings, as well as comparative study of literature.
This writing-intensive course requires a minimum of 4,000 words across multiple college-level, faculty-evaluated written assignments. If completed with a “C” or better, this course will be counted toward partial fulfillment of the Writing Intensive course requirements.
