AMH 2091 - African-American History- (I) 3 credit(s) This course is a survey of the Black American experience from its earliest roots in the high civilizations of Africa through present times. Special emphasis is given to the unique nature of that experience, the structural problems and potential of the Black community, and the study of the contributions and thought of outstanding African-American men and women.
