RET 4715 - Advanced Neonatal Medicine 3 credits Prerequisites: Admission into the BS Cardiopulmonary Sciences Program; and prior to enrolling in any upper level course (course number beginning with a 3 or 4), students must complete the following courses with a grade of “C” or better: ENC 1101 , ENC 1102 , and three semester hours of college level mathematics; or permission from the appropriate academic Dean The principles that underlie fetal developmental and congenital pathology with an emphasis on advanced practice for neonatology and cardiac care are discussed and analyzed. The practice issues for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Catheterization Lab are also reviewed.
