RET 4050 - Research Methods 3 credits Prerequisites: Admission into the BS Cardiopulmonary Sciences Program; and prior to enrolling in any upper level course (course number beginning with a 3 or 4), students must complete the following courses with a grade of “C” or better: ENC 1101 , ENC 1102 , and three semester hours of college level mathematics; or permission from the appropriate academic Dean The statistical analysis tools and organizational principles that underpin research practices for evidence-based medicine are surveyed. Specific literature-based examples are used to provide the basis for the presentation of research methods in clinical practice.
