LIT 2201 - Special Topics in Literature - (I) 3 credits Prerequisites: ENC 1101 with a grade of “C” or better This course offers a focused exploration of a significant genre of literature, such as Southern Literature, Science Fiction, Religious Texts, Apocalyptic Literature, Gothic Literature, Detective Fiction, or Children’s Literature. The course may be repeated for credit each time the topic is changed (up to a maximum of 6 credit hours).
This writing-intensive course requires a minimum of 4,000 words across multiple college-level, faculty-evaluated written assignments. If completed with a “C” or better, this course will be counted toward partial fulfillment of the Writing Intensive course requirements.
