BSC 1005 - General Biology 3 credits Prerequisites: SB 1720 Testing Exemption or successful completion of all Developmental courses Corequisites: This course is intended as a general biology class for students who do not necessarily wish to pursue a career in science. This course may be taken concurrently with the associated lab, but the lab component is not required, Topics included are chemistry for biological sciences, biology of the cell, heredity, evolution, phylogenic classification, and ecology and sustainability.
