MVJ 2110 - Jazz Piano for Non-Pianists

2 credits
Prerequisites: By Audition with permission of instructor
Corequisites: MUS 1010  
For jazz studies majors (non-pianists).  Students will learn jazz chord voicings, comping rhythms, and develop appropriate piano technique to be able to perform simple melodies and bass lines.
