Note: A grade of “C” or better is required to successfully complete this course. In this course, students will overview the professional roles of the Paramedic. In Laboratory, they will demonstrate satisfactory performance of psychomotor skills of basic and advanced life support techniques, of both adult and child patients, according to the current American Heart Association Guidelines or its equivalent. The course also includes the use of psychomotor and critical thinking skills needed for pre-hospital trauma patients based on current, evidence -based principals according to the Committee on Trauma of the American College of Surgeons.
