FIN 2001 - Business Finance 3 credits Prerequisites: (ACG 1001 or ACG 2021 ) and MTB 1103 This course introduces the student to the fundamental concepts of business finance, provides an understanding of basic financial calculations, and acquaints the student with decision-making tools for a business. Major points of emphasis include financial forecasting, time value of money concepts, understanding the difference between cash and profit, and how and why to use accounting data in decision making.
