DES 1200C - Dental Radiology - AS 3 credit(s) Prerequisite(s): DES 1020C with a grade of “C” or higher An in-depth study of the physics and production of x-rays, the instruments used for taking radiographs, the techniques for exposing radiographs, manual and automatic processing, mounting, and interpretation of radiographs. Dental radiographic health for the patient and operator is stressed with sterilization and disinfection. Students practice on mannequins before working with patients.
