AST 2004L - Astronomy Laboratory: Stars, Galaxies, and Cosmology 1 credit(s) Prerequisite(s): MAT 1033 or higher, with a grade of “C” or higher Corequisite(s): AST 2004 This course is the second part of a sequence of two courses that provide a hands-on introduction to astronomy as a quantitative observational science. The sequence consists of in-class and out-of-class activities and observations. This course is designed to provide an introduction to astronomical tools and methods that allow us to explore the lives of stars and galaxies, as well as the origin and expansion of the universe.
