AST 2004 - Astronomy: Stars, Galaxies, and Cosmology 3 credit(s) Prerequisite(s): MAT 1033 or higher with a grade of “C” or higher Corequisite(s): AST 2004L This course is the second part of a sequence of two courses that provide a survey of astronomy as a quantitative observational science. This course is designed to provide an introduction to star formation, stellar properties, the lives and deaths of stars, galaxies, and cosmology. AST 2003 and AST 2004 may be taken in any order.
