This course examines the principles of supply chain management (SCM) and the associated functions necessary for delivery of goods and services to customers. The course focuses on effective techniques for employees and managers to ensure that an effective supply chain exists in an organization. Students study an overview of SCM functions such as order processing, transportation, warehousing, purchasing, inventory management, e-commerce, information flow, and customer service.
