MAT 0018 - Mathematics for College Success in Liberal Arts (*) 4 credits This course provides instruction in mathematical concepts that serve as a foundation for liberal arts and statistics. This course emphasizes both written and verbal communication of mathematical concepts, and helps prepare the student for college-level liberal arts and statistics mathematics courses. Topics to be covered include Integers, Fractions, Order of operations, Algebraic expressions, Algebraic equations and inequalities, Ratios, Proportions, and Percents, and Averages, Medians, and Modes.
