MUT 1241 - Sight Singing and Ear Training I

Prerequisites: MUT 1001 with a grade of “C” or better, or permission of the instructor.
Corequisites: MUT 1111
This course covers the development of aural skills in both diatonic and chromatic musical styles. The student develops practical skills necessary for reading, understanding, and performing music. Included are sight singing, melodic and harmonic dictation, and error detection.
