The Architectural Design and Construction Technology Program prepares students to be architectural drafters. Students learn how to draw and properly develop a set of working drawings of architectural and structural frames for buildings and other structures. Program emphasis is on residential design and light commercial structures and the use of details, rough sketches, specifications, building codes, materials used in construction, cost estimating, and the use of the CAD and BIM software for all drawings.
