Digital Art and Multimedia Production, AS


Purpose

The Associate in Science (AS) in Digital Art and Multimedia Production provides the skills and training for professional work in the expanding digital arts industry.  Courses equip students to create, edit, and produce multimedia content through industry standard techniques. The AS degree prepares students for further education and careers in the fields of games and interactivity production, digital photography, filmmaking, animation, and graphic design.  As the creative digital industry is in a state of constant flux, students will be introduced to avenues for adapting to and engaging with ongoing changes in the marketplace.  Students will gain experience in many areas of digital art and multimedia production and will be prepared to enter the industry or create their own career pathways. 

One or more College Credit Certificates are associated with this AS degree.

Graduation Requirements

Students must fulfill all requirements of their program to be eligible for graduation. 

General Education Requirements: 15 Credit Hours


Electives: 3 Credit Hours


  • Any 1000 or 2000 level courses 3 credits (Recommended: SLS 1515  )

Total Degree Requirements: 60 Credit Hours
