BSC 1093C - Anatomy and Physiology I 5 class hours,4 credit(s) Prerequisite(s): Minimum grade of a “C” in {BSC 1010 and BSC 1010L} or testing This is an advanced combined lecture/lab course designed for students in the biological, medical, and health-related fields. This course expands upon general biological concepts including: inorganic and organic chemistry, biochemistry, cell structure and function, metabolism, and genetic mechanisms. These concepts are applied to the structure and function of the human body. This course also covers: introduction to anatomy, tissues, integumentary system, skeletal system, muscular system, nervous system, special senses, and the endocrine system.
