CVT 2205 - Advanced Cardiac Care

Prerequisites: CVT 1200 and CVT 2420
Corequisites: CVT 2421 and CVT 2840L
This course presents an in-depth review of critical care for the cardiovascular patient. Cardiac assist devices, oxygen delivery devices, advanced cardiac pharmacology, and advanced cardiac algorithms will be reviewed. In addition, the student will be presented with advanced structural heart, peripheral interventional, endovascular, and cardiothoracic therapy procedures and operations.
