ETD 2340 - Advanced Computer Aided Drafting 3 credit(s) Prerequisite(s): ETD 1320 with a grade of “D” or higher This course is an introduction of hardware/software configurations required for the automated drafting environment. The operating system hierarchy and how drawings are stored, edited, copied, deleted, and renamed; file specifications and protection; how to log in and log out from the CAD work station (to include remote operations); and the commands necessary for basic drawing utilities are covered. Different methods of generating commands are also covered. AutoCAD software is used.
