FFP 2630 - Latent Investigations-AS

This course examines explosives and explosive combustion, chemical fires and hazardous materials, and resources for investigating fires. The students will also study fire-related deaths and injuries, arson as a crime, arson law, report writing, courtroom testimony and citations. The course is designed to enhance the investigation, detection, and determination of the cause and origin of fire. This course meets part of the requirements for the Florida State Fire Investigator II Certification.
